Shannon+Michael {wedding}

Oh these two are lovely - such a cute family and I was so honored to be apart of their special day. The weather didn't cooperate just as we all had hoped but their "moved inside" wedding ceremony was still incredible! The wind was perfect for Shannon's RIDICULOUSLY gorgeous flowing gown... so so so stupidly pretty. Congratulations you guys! Also... I am playing with some editing techniques and filters.... not sure how I feel about them yet...thoughts anyone?

Karen+Zvonko {E-session}

I feel like I haven't highlighted an engagement in awhile and these two are definitely "highlight" worthy. It's all pretty simple really...

-they are spartans (my favorite kind of people)

-they met at west wilson Karen's freshman year @ her mailbox

-they spent tons of time at Zvonko's place on MAC

-they fell in love

-He proposed... she said yes...

-they are getting married and I get to shoot it. Yes...I am very lucky.

We headed to the MSU campus for their session and seriously had tons of fun. Please notice the very intense "tango by the fountain". Next June 11 is going to be GREAT! XO.

Colleen+Nate {wedding}

So I don't even know where to start with these two. I was crazy about them after their e-session in royal oak this past May. They are genuine, crazy fun and completely head over heels in love. Their wedding was at the Westin Book Cadillac in downtown Detroit. Colleen is about as crafty as they come... she made the hairpieces, designed their invites, the birdie cake toppers were all her handiwork as well. They worked together to sand and stain the 80+ wooden place card holders... phew! I am tired just thinking about all the creative juices. Talk about an emotional day too...so I have been known to shed a tear or two at almost EVERY wedding... but never ever have I actually sobbed. Nate's little speech to Colleen at the reception did me in(and the rest of the attendees I might add). Full. Out. Sobs. OH! Don't forget their awesome friends - they totally rocked and even surprised them with a flash mob dance with full coordination. SO MUCH FUN! ... and I want her bag. It's amazing...
